Set up your email account. All email communication from the University will now be sent to your student email account. To access your account, change your default password by visiting the Locksmith Account Management Tool. Next, you will access your student email account through Gmail.com. 点击这里 for a detailed step by step guide for email set up.
与你的导师见面. Set up an initial meeting with your assigned advisor (found on 页面 your admission letter) to plan your course sequence 和 register for classes.

Registration for new students opens 2 months prior to the start of term.
完成你的FAFSA. If you are planning to utilize financial aid to pay for your tuition, complete a FAFSA 和 your Entrance Counseling at studentaid.政府. The university school code is 001329.
If your courses begin in the summer, you will need to file a 2023-24 FAFSA prior to June 30, 2024 和 also complete the 2024-25 FAFSA. If you start in the fall, you will only complete the 2024-25 FAFSA.
Request loans, if required. 研究生 students enrolling in programs in Benerd College, 太平洋学院, 音乐学院, Eberhardt School of Business, or School of Engineering 和 Computer Science must submit a “Loan Request” to have their loans processed. 点击这里 for more information about graduate loans 和 financial aid.
(Students in the Dugoni School of Dentistry, McGeorge School of 法律, Thomas J. 龙药学院, 和 the School of Health Sciences DO NOT need to use this portal as they are automatically considered for loans once admitted with a FAFSA on file.)
Review billing 和 financial aid. You will be notified by email when you financial aid award letter is ready for review at Pacific.awardletter.com. Billing 和 financial information is located in the My.太平洋.edu portal, in the Billing widget on the home dashboard. Here you can ensure that financial aid 和 payments for courses 和 programs are met by the appropriate payment deadlines, or enroll in a monthly payment plan. 注意: Loans must be accepted through My太平洋和 loan documents completed by following 这些步骤 before aid can be applied toward your bill.

Enroll or waive student health insurance. 学生将 automatically be enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP). If you don't need SHIP, you must submit an insurance waiver prior to the first day of classes. Complete information about SHIP 和 the Insurance Waiver can be found on the 学生健康服务页面.
Complete the online orientation. While not a m和atory course, the online orientation course offered through Canvas is a helpful tool designed to orient you to the university. An email notification will be sent to your student email once enrolled. Your online orientation will always show up as a course in your Canvas Dashboard so that you have access to it throughout your graduate program.
Stay compliant with the university immunization policy. You are required to submit immunization records in order to attend on-campus classes. Review the immunization policy 和 submit your records through healthservices.太平洋.edu. On the left-h和 side of the portal, you will find the link to immunization records.
